Genome-Wide Association Study for Fusarium Head Blight Resistance in Common Wheat from China

چکیده

As a devastating wheat disease, Fusarium head blight (FHB) causes large losses in yield and quality. The purpose of this study was to detect the genetic loci for FHB resistance based on genome-wide association (GWAS) using two panels genotyped by Wheat 660 K SNP array 90 array. Phenotypic investigation results showed that 43.6–51.6% test varieties an infection type more than 3, indicating substantial improvement level urgently required. GWAS detected 1264 SNPs associated with response distributed all chromosomes. Fourteen QTL were stably environments. gFHB-1B (582.9~607.9 Mb chromosome 1B) gFHB-5A (577.9~596.5 5A) novel panels. Haplotype analysis both indicated gFHB-1B_R gFHB-5A_R had consistently less carrying one or no QTL. application frequency FHB-resistant alleles gradually decreasing trend breeding. This identified new control provides useful information marker-assisted selection resistance.

Genome-Wide Association Mapping of Fusarium Head Blight Resistance in Wheat using Genotyping-by-Sequencing.

Fusarium head blight (FHB) is one of the most important wheat ( L.) diseases worldwide, and host resistance displays complex genetic control. A genome-wide association study (GWAS) was performed on 273 winter wheat breeding lines from the midwestern and eastern regions of the United States to identify chromosomal regions associated with FHB resistance. Genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) was used to...

Whole Genome Association Mapping of Fusarium Head Blight Resistance in European Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

A total of 358 recent European winter wheat varieties plus 14 spring wheat varieties were evaluated for resistance to Fusarium head blight (FHB) caused by Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium culmorum in four separate environments. The FHB scores based on FHB incidence (Type I resistance)×FHB severity (Type II resistance) indicated a wide phenotypic variation of the varieties with BLUE (best linea...

Mixed Model Association Mapping for Fusarium Head Blight Resistance in Tunisian-Derived Durum Wheat Populations

Sources of resistance to Fusarium head blight (FHB) in wheat are mostly restricted to Chinese hexaploid genotypes. The effort to incorporate the resistance from hexaploid wheat or wild relatives to cultivated durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L. var. durum Desf.) have not been successful in providing resistance to the level of the donor parents. In this study, we used 171 BC(1)F(6) and 169 BC(1)F(...

Mapping and Expression Analysis of a Fusarium Head Blight Resistance Gene Candidate Pleiotropic Drug Resistance 5 (PDR5) in Wheat

Fusarium head blight (FHB) caused by Fusarium graminearum is a serious disease of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), through which grain quality losses are induced by fungal trichotecene mycotoxins such as deoxynivalenol (DON). A class of plasma membrane localized ABC transporter proteins related to the yeast PDR5 (pleiotropic drug resistance5) efflux pump seems to be responsible for partial resista...
